VDAS 越南設計協會 | HCMC 是胡志明市工業貿易部 (Industry & Trade Department of Hochiminh City) 核准的社會組織，自律地展開自願性質的工作，目的是為了說服、鼓勵能改善生活的設計創意，以及創造可促進越南市場經濟發展的條件，同時保護創作者的權益，並助長更多新設計和美學創作，以及繼承和推廣越南傳統和文化精華，並在國際上宣傳和促進市場經濟整合。因此，VDAS 的任務是在越南推動關於設計的政策辯論，以及成為聯絡和知識的中心，展示設計能對實現有意義的永續社會以及振興和復興經濟發揮影響力。

VDAS Design Association | HCMC . Vietnam is a social organization licensed by the Industry & Trade Department of Hochiminh City, work voluntarily and self-discipline in order to persuade, encourage creativity in design to serve the living, life and to create the conditions that promote economic development in the market economy in Vietnam. At the same time protecting the rights for the authors to have many new designs, aesthetics, inherit and promote traditional and cultural elite of the nation, promote and integrate internationally in the market economy.

As such, VDAS is tasked with driving policy debate about design in Vietnam and with being a central point of contact and knowledge on the demonstrable impact that design can make an impact towards meaningful, sustainable social and economic invigoration, renewal.

策展人 Curator Ngoc Danh Tran

Ms. Danh Tran 是胡志明市 VDAS 越南設計協會 (Vietnam Design Association) | HCMC的副會長，她同時也是 VMARK 越南設計獎 (Vietnam Design Award) 的創辦人暨執行長，而此獎項為 VDAS 協會在 VMARK 越南設計週所舉行的年度盛事。協會以建立設計者、企業家和國際組織之間的關係為使命，重新定義當地設計社群的身分認同，向全世界展現嶄新樣貌。
Ms. Danh Tran 擁有超過 20 年的設計產業管理經歷，不僅經驗豐富，也精通其專業領域的所有面向。她具備從概念發想到製作、策略規劃到客戶關係的全方位知識和專業技能。她的專業知識包括對當地和國際市場的瞭解，特別是在越南，她相當有成效地讓全球的企業合作夥伴和跨國企業建立了合作關係。
Ms. Tran 的領導技巧以及對創意產業的深厚瞭解，有助於為她服務的協會爭取支持，並促進在全球創意社群內部的合作。她協調各種創意領域以及和利益關係人有效溝通的能力，充分體現出她所具備的優秀創業家精神。她透過參與國際訓練課程、活動和研討會進一步精進技能，同時也藉由這些機會提高越南設計產業在全球舞台上的知名度。

Ms. Danh Tran is the Vice President of VDAS Vietnam Design Association | Hochiminh city. She is also the Founder & CEO of VMARK Vietnam Design Award, the anchor event of VDAS Association celebrated in VMARK Vietnam Design Week annually. Its main mission is to build a connection between Designers, Entrepreneurs, and International Organizations. It redefines the local Design Community identity with a fresher look to the world.

With over 20 years of management experience in the design industry, Ms. Danh Tran is a seasoned professional well-versed in every facet of her field. From conceptualization to production, strategic planning to client relations, she possesses comprehensive knowledge and proficiency. Her expertise extends to understanding both local and international markets, particularly in Vietnam, where she has effectively connected with global business partners and multinational corporations.

Ms. Tran’s leadership skills and deep understanding of the creative industry have been instrumental in garnering support and fostering collaborations within the global creative community for the Association she serves. Her strong entrepreneurial spirit is evident through her ability to navigate various creative segments and communicate effectively with stakeholders. She has further honed her skills through participation in international training courses, events and conferences, leveraging these opportunities to elevate awareness of the Vietnamese Design Industry on the global stage.

With a passion for creating with traditional materials, Nam developed the idea and launched an electric fan made from bamboo. He also wants to promote national cultural identity, bring traditional breath and environmentally friendly spirit into his designs.

The shelf frame can be extended and adjusted in size, helping users optimize space and arrange furniture more easily, similar to the way people exploit and make the most of natural heritage space to serve personal interests.

The movements of all things in nature are truly remarkable, from animals, plants,
and light, to simple elements like the wind and fire. Both the pendant and floor lamps have the same motion structure, but their different designs create distinct effects, each with their own unique.

此概念性穿戴系列設計是為了幫助個人擺脫焦慮想法，並保持踏實的安全感。此系列以管理急性壓力和緩解焦慮為目的的「著陸練習」方法為靈感，旨在利用各種視覺圖像、質地和減壓玩具刺激五感，進而達到讓個人將注意力集中在當下的最終目標。

Wearable products

A conceptual wearable collection designed to aid individuals struggling to divert themselves from anxious thoughts and keeping themselves grounded.
Drawing inspiration from Grounding Techniques—an approach aimed at managing acute stress and alleviating anxiety— the collection aim to intrigue the five senses with a variety of visual, textures, and fidget play, with the final goal to be anchoring individuals to the present moment.
